This two-story log home offers a newly added game room, double sliding patio doors face lakeside leading to the large covered porch featuring several southern style rocking chairs. The beautiful interior lodge decor wraps this resort cabin in comfort and style throughout!
The covered front porch with white Dixie style rocking chairs offers that warm southern greeting as you step through the double set of sliding patio doors into this big, beautiful log home. The open concept living room, dining room and kitchen, with floor-to-ceiling stone gas burning fireplace is the perfect complement to any family gathering or entertaining. There's plenty of seating in the living room for everyone and the new leather ottoman actually opens up into a single bed. Peak in side the closet and you'll find a huge array of games for all ages!

The kitchen at Rustic Retreat gives all new meaning to "fully stocked". There's gadgets and appliances not often found in your typical up north cabin. It has been conveniently layed out with your comfort in mind! In 2018, even a second refrigerator was added to the kitchen! Now there's plenty of space to keep drinks and water bottles cold, and still have room for the groceries.
A log spindle railing offers exposure to the second level of the home which features two bedrooms separated by a full bath and a sitting area with sofa sleeper and television. This area provides that little bit of privacy for early morning risers.
Don’t care to climb the carpeted steps? Then enjoy the convenience of two additional bedrooms on the main floor, and full bath and a half along with a stackable washer and dryer.

Just for an added bonus, the lower level of the home features a fully carpeted rec room, with foosball, pool table, poker/game table and television! It's the perfect spot for rainy days, a little friendly competition or a place for the kids to just hang out!
Should others wish to travel with you, our 2 to 5 bedroom cottages are all tastefully furnished and carpeted. Kitchens or kitchenettes are well equipped for cooking, including microwave ovens, toasters and coffee pots. The cottages have thermostatically controlled gas heat for your comfort and all have fireplaces. There are color cable televisions in each unit, some with a VCR and some with a DVD player. Also furnished with each cottage is a 14 foot aluminum row boat, life jackets and cushion, picnic table, grill, lawn chairs, above-ground fire pits and professionally laundered bed linens.

Leisure Lodge Condominiums is a resort of 13 cabins on the south east corner of the lake. Guests of Rustic Retreat can take full advantage of the numerous amenities the resort has to offer, like the sand volleyball court lakeside, the tennis court, shuffleboard, boat launching ramp with dock, paddleboat, sandy beach with excellent swimming, canoe and fish cleaning house with lights and running water.

Summary: Clean and welcoming cabin! Cabin has all essentials with utensils and everything you need for a great stay! Property owners are very reaponsive and helpful. The game room was awesome and all the rooms have televisions. The yard is awesome for outdoor games. We spent a lot of time feeding the deer and sitting around the fire pit. Cabin is spacious where you can either sit together or separate. Talked to the neighbors and they were friendly. All in all wouldnt ask for anything more. Thanks!!

Summary: We loved our stay at Rustic Retreat and we didn’t want to leave. We had deer join us for breakfast and dinner each day. Our kids just sort of lived among them during our stay. It was amazing! The cabin was beautiful, clean and roomy. Perfect for two families with kids. The property manager was so helpful and friendly before, during and after our stay. We can’t wait to return!

Summary: My group of 6 adults stayed at this property for our annual trip to Eagle River for Cranberry Fest. This was our first time staying at this house and it couldn't have been any more perfect for us. We were greeted by many beautiful deer (who visited us many times throughout our stay, and even supervised me as I was grilling dinner on Saturday night!). Upon entering the house we noticed how incredibly clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated it was. The beds were very comfortable and we all had great nights' sleep. Having a TV in each room was a plus, especially for those of us who stay up later than others. The upstairs seating area was the perfect place to relax or to read a book. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our weekend, and what we didn't have we were able to buy at the grocery store in town. Having the second refrigerator was a bonus, as was the speakers/sound system in the kitchen - we enjoyed the music while we played games, prepared food or just spent time together. The fireplace was beautiful and added just enough heat to take the fall chill out of the air. We had a great time downstairs, playing pool and foosball. We used the gas grill and it worked great (and was clean!). Although Mother Nature didn't allow us to enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch or the firepit, we would have if the weather cooperated - both areas were large and had plenty of seating. Exactly as pictured (but more beautiful in person) - we will definitely be back!

Summary: My friend, my stepson and myself have an annual ice fishing trip tradition and it’s one of the highlights of our winters. This property was perfect! It was clean, spacious, has a great game room and a everything you need for a great vacation. We loved staying here and hope to be back next year!

Summary: The location is absolutely beautiful! It's a few steps away from the lake, and the lake is visible from the living room windows. The deer were out every morning just passing by right in front of the cabin. The cabin itself was immaculate, a spacious layout, great kitchen, dining, living room layout for gathering. Beautiful trees, a great fire pit, and overall it's definitely a cabin to rent again !!

Summary: Our family really enjoyed staying at the Rustic Retreat cabin. The layout of this cabin is perfect for families. Our kids had a hard time deciding which bedroom they wanted, however they spent most of their time in the basement game room. All of the instructions found throughout the cabin were very informative while having a welcoming tone. So many VRBO places we’ve stayed start their instructions out with “don’t do this” or “don’t do that” which give you a walking on eggshells feeling. Not here! The large parking lot made navigating and parking our snowmobile trailer a breeze. Thank you so much for a wonderful time and we’ll surely be back.
